Hi, I’m henna ahmed.
I grew up in Los Angeles and earned a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Psychological & Brain Sciences from UC Santa Barbara. In 2023, I received my M.S. in Higher Education from Northwestern University, specializing in enrollment management, ethical admissions practices, and higher education policy.
I’ve served as Assistant Director on Northwestern’s Top-10 admissions committee, where I reviewed thousands of applications, read 8,000+ essays, attended the 2024 NACAC conference, and was invited to essay conferences at UChicago and USC. I have also written a 150-page research paper on financial savvy in higher ed. Most recently, I served as the Associate Director of College Counseling at a private K-12 school in Honolulu, HI.
For 5+ years, I’ve helped students and families nationwide as a private consultant, aiming to make the process easier, more enjoyable, and relationship-driven. Your success is my success!
