Hi, I’m henna ahmed.

I grew up in Los Angeles and earned a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Psychological & Brain Sciences from UC Santa Barbara. In 2023, I received my M.S. in Higher Education from Northwestern University, specializing in enrollment management, ethical admissions practices, and higher education policy.

As Asst. Director on Northwestern’s Top-10 admissions committee, I read 8,000+ essays, attended the 2024 NACAC conference, and got invited to essay conferences at UChicago and USC. I’ve written a 150-page paper on financial aid and recently served as the Associate Director of College Counseling at a private school in Honolulu, HI.

I am also a pre-published fiction author, represented by Harvey Klinger Literary Agency!
