Hi, I’m henna ahmed.

I grew up in Los Angeles and earned a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Psychological & Brain Sciences from UC Santa Barbara in 2022. In 2023, I completed my M.S. in Higher Education at Northwestern University, specializing in enrollment management, ethical admissions practices, and higher education policy.

After graduation, I served as Assistant Director on Northwestern’s Top-10 admissions committee, reviewing thousands of West Coast applications. I’ve read 4,000+ essays, attended the 2024 NACAC conference, been invited to essay conferences at UChicago and USC, and have written a 150-page thesis on financial savvy in higher ed. I recently served as the Associate Director of College Counseling at a private school in Honolulu, HI.
